Carolyn Barber was born in New Jersey and has been a resident of Monmouth County for over 17 years, where she raises her two sons, Dominick and Luke, with her husband Don.

Carolyn understands what it takes to successfully close a real estate sale or purchase despite the unexpected twists and turns of modern real estate transactions. Carolyn is no stranger to demanding, detail-oriented work, having worked in the entertainment business for many years.

Carolyn began her professional career as a producer in the TV and film industries, working at MTV and VH1 in New York City. She also worked in Los Angeles as the right hand for motion picture producers and actors, including Arnold Kopelson and Diane Keaton. Upon returning to the New York-New Jersey area, Carolyn was hired by Faith Ford to work with her on the TV show, Hope & Faith, which starred Faith and Kelly Ripa. In addition, Carolyn has also worked in Japan as an English teacher.

The real estate bug bit her when Diane Keaton hired her to be the project manager on two architectural books for Rizzoli Press, where she had the privilege to tour amazing estates and make recommendations for inclusion in the books. She also organized the renovations for Diane’s many homes. Carolyn has meticulous attention to detail and works well under pressure when tackling the many tasks associated with home buying and selling.

Carolyn serves on the Shrewsbury Borough Board of Education and is active in the local PTA, Community Alliance and other organizations in Monmouth County.

She uses all of her present and past professional experiences dealing with high-pressure situations to make buying or selling a home a smooth process. She is tenacious and loyal and she will be your best advocate in any transaction.
